Nintendo Wii U - Super Mario 3D World

The Wii U have finally gotten a real gaming gem from Nintendo itself. Yes, it's him. The moustached plumber and his whole entourage of loyal minions are back. The main storyline is spread over 8 worlds full of pitfalls and dangers. The creators have gone all out, so expect many improvements and new power-ups. One of the most anticipated ones is a bell that turns Mario into a proper cat. This gives you the ability to scratch an enemy or climb walls.
Fantastic gameplay is king, though the game also boasts a fully 3D environment with vivid colours, HD graphics, and a great soundtrack. Traditional controls have been slightly improved with the touch screen and microphone, which are part of the Wii U gamepad. In each level, you can look forward to lots of puzzles, coins, and secret locations with bonus rewards. The final boss fights are beautiful to watch, but also require a different and clever approach.
You can get through the whole game alone and have plenty of fun, but the optional co-op with three other players is just godly. The game is incredibly addictive and all the action and tension just grabs you and won’t let go. The glowing reviews from all over the world are a clear proof of this.
