Instructions for setting the Acer TSA trunk lock
You can change the combination of numbers using the following procedure:
1. Set the combination on the lock to open (the manufacturer's preset code is 0-0-0). 2. Push the reset button with a pencil or other pointed object until you hear a clicking sound. 3. Set your new number on the dial pad and remember it well. 4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow. This will return the reset button to its original position and you will hear a click. At this point, a new numeric code has been set. 5. If you change the numbers on the lock to any other code, the lock will not open.
The lock will now only open to the code you set. If you wish to change your code number, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
The key is not supplied with this lock, only TSA security personnel at the airport have it to open and check the suitcase without damaging the lock.
Opening the lock:
Release the zipper sliders to open the trunk by entering the correct code and pressing the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow as shown (the factory code is preset to 0-0-0 if you have not already set your own code).
