An active PWM with automatic speed control recognises the current processor load, so you can enjoy totally silent passive cooling when you're operating in a low-capacity environment. On the contrary, the cooler squeezes the maximum cooling capacity when the processor is operating at heavy loads but still with a low noise generation.
The improved copper tube design increases the efficiency of heat removal. Together with aluminium ribs and two 120mm fans, it optimises the airflow. The first fan pushes air through the heatsink, the second fan pulls the air out of the heatsink. The fans can be used in conjunction with the patented PWM Sharing technology to regulate revolutions in the range of 200 - 1800 rpm.
