Weighing just 335 grams and featuring a thin pancake design, it's ideal for everyday photography, travel or unobtrusive street photography. Advanced optical design for excellent image quality and fast focusing

The lens has a high-quality optical construction consisting of 9 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical element. Two groups of lenses are placed in front of the aperture blades and the remaining behind them. This helps reduce light reflections inside the lens that cause image doubling, flare and chromatic aberrations. The GF50mm/F3.5 R LM WR uses an internal focusing system powered by a powerful linear motor to maintain maximum portability while providing absolute precision. A pair of specially designed lenses reduces the number of moving groups, meaning the compact optics achieve fast, accurate and near-silent autofocusing.

Intuitive controls with manual and aperture ring

The manual focus ring is noticeably thinner than on other Fujifilm GF lenses, but has a firm rubber texture that is easy to grip. Despite its small size, you'll also find a reserved aperture ring with a range of F3.5 to F32 with an auto mode for shutter-priority shooting and a C mode at the far end for command dial aperture control. The lens is designed to be able to shoot in challenging conditions. The lens barrel is sealed along the tube in 10 places against dust and moisture, allowing operation in adverse weather, elevated humidity and temperatures down to -10°C.
