Fujifilm Fujinon GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR

Fujifilm Fujinon GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR
The Fujifilm Fujinon GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR is the smallest and lightest zoom lens in the GF series, designed for the FUJIFILM GFX medium format system. It offers a balanced combination of compact design and high image quality, making it the ideal choice for everyday use in the field and on the go. The 35-70mm focal range (28-55mm full frame equivalent) covers a wide range - from wide-angle landscapes to standard portraits. Angles of 76° to 42.7° allow for versatile compositions in a variety of environments. Fast and quiet autofocus powered by a stepper motor is ideal for spontaneous street photography.

Compact and compact lens with excellent resolution of over 100 megapixels
Thanks to its weight and size, it allows for easy handheld photography. The Compact Zoom produces images with over 100 megapixels of resolution, so you can capture life in large format and enjoy all the excellent optical benefits it brings. The lens is a collapsible design (with a variable length tube), which means you have to turn the zoom ring from the "dot" position to operate it. When the lens is in its most compact size (73.9 mm) in the "dot" position, a warning signal on the camera's LCD prompts you to do so. The length at maximum extension is 96.4 mm (wide) and 95.7 mm (tele).

Fast autofocus and minimal focus breathing for perfect portraits and video
Further enhancing the GF35-70mmF4.5-5.6 WR is fast autofocus, which can focus in less than 0.13 seconds and uses the image stabilization systems built into the latest GFX cameras. Its speed is particularly effective for portraiture that involves the subject's movements. Focus breathing has also been minimized to ensure consistent composition when creating video. The lens has an aperture of F4.5-5.6, which, converted to full frame, corresponds to F3.6-4.5. The maximum value of the rounded 9-blade aperture is F32 and produces creamy soft bokeh.
Customizable aperture and zoom controls for flexible shooting
The obvious difference between the GF 35-70mm compared to any other G mount lens is the fact that the lens does not have an aperture ring. Clone is adjusted using one of the main command dials on the camera. The zoom ring has markings at 75mm, 63mm, 45mm and 35mm (55mm, 50mm, 35mm and 28mm full-frame equivalent). Another textured ring is the focus ring used when shooting with manual focus.

High image quality and silent autofocus for video and stills
The GF 35-70mm lens consists of 11 elements, including one aspherical element and two ED elements, in nine groups. Lightweight focusing elements are driven by a stepper focus motor for fast and accurate autofocus performance. The focusing noise is minimal, making it suitable not only for photography but also for video recording.
High durability and excellent focusing for detailed images
It has the second shortest minimum focusing distance (35cm) among GFX series lenses, allowing users to capture a close-up of a subject approximately 25cm from the front-most lens element. The lens also supports autofocus modes with face/eye detection. The lens barrel is weather-sealed in 9 places to resist dust and moisture ingress (WR) and can be used in temperatures as low as -10°C. Hydrophobic fluorine coating on the front element repels moisture.
