Fractal Design Meshify 2 Nano case design
The steel construction gives the entire chassis the stability and durability it needs. The front panel features the iconic asymmetrical mesh design, which functions as an effective air intake. The left side is enclosed by a tempered glass panel that uses a tool-less latching mechanism for a clean look. The top panel of the case can be completely removed, which makes installing components and accessing the interior much easier.
Cooling options and airflow
The interior can accommodate up to six fans to exhaust waste heat from the case. Two Dynamic X2 GP fans are already included in the package, with one 120mm fan exhausting air at the rear and one 140mm unit drawing air in at the front. The open interior layout creates a smooth airflow path from the front intake to the rear exhaust. In addition, the front position allows for the installation of water-cooling radiators up to 280mm.
Component support for the Meshify 2 Nano
Despite its compact Mini Tower form factor, the chassis accommodates graphics cards up to 331mm long if you leave the front fan in place. The CPU cooler has 167mm of clearance, which fits most common tower coolers. The power supply bay is located at the bottom and supports standard ATX format PSUs, expanding the choice of compatible components.
Data storage and cable management
Users can take advantage of flexible installation options for hard drives and SSDs. The system allows for the mounting of one 3.5" drive and up to three 2.5" drives, or a combination of two 3.5" and two 2.5" storage devices when using all brackets. Integrated cable guides and tie-down straps on the back of the motherboard help keep cabling out of the main airflow path.
Connectivity and filter maintenance
The top-mounted I/O panel offers a USB-C interface with support for high transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. You can also make use of two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and separate connectors for headphones and a microphone. Easily accessible dust filters protect the computer's interior from dirt on the front, top and bottom sides.
