FOMEI 10x42 FOREMAN PRO XLD

FOMEI 10x42 FOREMAN PRO XLD
The FOMEI 10x42 FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars are ideal for ornithologists or avid hikers thanks to their high edge sharpness and tenfold magnification. It is also a good tool for game viewing or water recreation. The practical advantage is also the low weight and dimensions. Thanks to its wide field of view (122 m at 1000 m) it is also suitable for racing. The anti-reflective layers of HTC and DEC ensure less than 10% light reflection and allow more than 90% light transmission. The binoculars belong to the FOMEI FOREMAN PRO XLD generation of hunting binoculars, which is developed with a focus on maximum use in twilight, twilight or difficult light conditions. The main advantage is the excellent handling and light output of the optical system.

Key features of FOMEI 10×42 FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars
- It excels in high edge sharpness.
- The 10x magnification makes it ideal for ornithologists, avid hikers for game viewing or water recreation
- HTC and DEC anti-reflective layers ensure maximum throughput
- The eyepieces have an axial pitch of 58-73 mm
- Practical bag and strap
- Soft antistatic microfibre cloth
- Phase layers for better optical resolution and contrast
HTC and DEC anti-reflective layers
All objective lenses and eyepieces are coated with special HTC (High Transmission Coating) anti-reflective coatings. The telescope prisms are treated with DEC (Di-Electrical Coating) layers. The combination of HTC/DEC anti-reflective layers ensures maximum transmittance of the entire optical system. Binoculars excel in high edge sharpness of the image and maximum overall light transmission. Due to their excellent light transmission, they use "residual light" and are therefore also suitable for night-time observation of game or the sky. Where the human eye sees only black shadows, details are visible with the FOMEI FOREMAN telescope.

FOREMAN uses phase layers
In roof prism telescopes, the light refraction is phase shifted. The reflected light is thus partially polarized and interference can occur. As a consequence, "optical power" and "optical resolution" are lost. This is most noticeable in binoculars with high magnification and a disproportionately small objective (small pupil). This effect can be significantly reduced in prisms by using special phase layers. The resulting image has significantly better contrast and optical resolution. It is far superior and comparable to binoculars equipped with porro prisms.

Robust waterproof body
The body of the telescope is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents internal frosting during sudden temperature changes and also ensures its water resistance (WATERPROOF). The robust design of the FOREMAN PRO XLD extends the wide range of applications. The 42 mm diameter input lens, combined with the materials and technologies used, offer excellent optical performance while maintaining a light weight and compact size.
