The FiiO Q7 is a top-of-the-line portable DAC/amplifier. While the Q7's dimensions are still portable, it offers enough power for practically any headphones. In portable mode, it's capable of delivering "only" 1500mW. However, when you connect it to a power source, it unlocks an 'Enhanced Mode' that lets you use up to 3000mW of power. The Q7 features two THX AAA 788+ chips, which are commonly used in desktop devices. The device offers digital signal decoding on par with desktop equipment. It uses a 16-core XMOS XU316 chip, a high-quality ES9038PRO DAC chip, and a Qualcomm QC5124 Bluetooth chip. This combination of chips provides playback for every format you could wish for, including LDAC, aptX codecs, DSD512, and fully decoded MQA.

Modern high-end design
The amplifier's design is inspired by other high-end FiiO products. The body is made from a combination of aluminium and glass. There's a full-colour 1.3-inch high-resolution display that shows all the necessary information. Controlling it is very intuitive – everything can be done using the knob. The sides of the device feature colour indicators that show the format currently being played.
