The lightweight and durable sapphire coating on the diaphragm serves as a reinforcing elastic layer with a mechanical resistance of up to 400GPa, which helps the diaphragm to hold its shape and minimises unwanted sound distortion by up to 30%, guaranteeing smoother and more detailed highs.
