There are three function options per button, depending on the type of press: short press, long press and double click. You can assign a different function to each type.

Installing the buttons
You can place each of the buttons wherever it makes sense to you. On the centre console, on the dashboard, on the back of the infotainment display or in the doors. And you can simply move them again elsewhere if necessary.
Commander Gen2 control unit
Also included is the control unit, the main means of communication with your Tesla car. Use the included cable to easily connect it to your car. Immediately afterwards, it automatically connects and you can start using the app on your phone to set up your own button shortcuts. With Commander Gen2, you can also assign additional functions to pedals or door handles. The unit is installed in the rear of the vehicle under the centre armrest between the seats.
