EATON UPS 93PS 8kW (3 or 1)/1phase

EATON UPS 93PS 8kW (3 or 1)/1phase
The Eaton UPS 93PS 8kW backup power supply operates on the principle of an online double-conversion UPS, delivering an apparent power of 8000VA and a real power of 8000W. This three-phase backup power supply offers protection for critical infrastructure such as data centres or industrial operations. At full load, it provides a backup time of 11 minutes; at half load, it powers connected devices for 30 minutes. The powerful 8kW UPS protects connected systems from all power grid anomalies and adapts to growing demands with its software-scalable power of up to 10kW.
Key features of the Eaton UPS 93PS 8kW 3/3-phase backup power supply
- Online double-conversion topology filters all power grid anomalies
- Energy Saver System (ESS) mode reduces running costs with high efficiency
- Supports parallel connection to increase capacity or create a redundant system
- Cold start function starts the UPS from the battery without mains power
- Integrated network management and expandable communication slots for easy monitoring
- Built-in touchscreen for control and status overview
Topology and power
This backup power supply uses an online double-conversion topology that continuously regenerates the output voltage, completely isolating connected devices from input problems. The efficiency at full load is 96% and 95.2% at half load. In Energy Saver System (ESS) mode, the efficiency increases to 99%, which reduces running costs. The unit's power can be scaled up to 10kW using software. Both input and output voltage can be selected in the range of 380–415V, and the output frequency can be programmed to 50/60Hz.
Battery and protection of the Eaton UPS 93PS
In the event of a power failure, a single internal battery string with a capacity of 9Ah provides power. Battery life is extended by Advanced Battery Management (ABM) technology, which actively optimises the charging process and prevents deep discharge. The cold start (Start-on-battery) function starts the UPS directly from the batteries without any mains power input. External battery modules can be connected via a hardwired connection to extend the backup time.
Management and user interface
For remote monitoring and control, the power supply includes an integrated Network Management function and an automatic shutdown function. Local control and an overview of operating statuses are provided by a clear 5" touchscreen. The basic communication equipment consists of USB and RS-232 ports, which are complemented by two slots for optional communication cards, such as an SNMP adapter for integration into network monitoring systems.
Backup power supply connection options
The backup power supply uses a hardwired input connection for power. It supplies energy to connected devices through a single hardwired output connection. The three-phase input and output configuration (3/3) makes it ideal for powering data centres and industrial applications. For further infrastructure development, it enables the parallel connection of up to four units to increase total capacity or create an N+1 redundant system.
