The dRio AKU electric grinder features a ceramic grinding mechanism that effortlessly handles salt, pepper and any other spices you put in it. You can choose from a total of 6 grinding levels—from very fine to very coarse. The dRio AKU grinder dispenses spices evenly and responds to even a light touch, allowing you to season your dish with precision.
The dRio AKU grinder lights the way for perfect seasoning
To season your food just right, it is important not to add too little or too much spice. On the bottom of the dRio AKU grinder, there is an LED light that automatically turns on when you start grinding. A removable cap hides both the light and the grinder when not in use.
Rechargeable battery with a large capacity
A fully charged dRio AKU grinder lasts for up to 20 minutes of continuous operation. With normal use, this is more than one month. The built-in Li-Ion battery has a 500mAh capacity and is charged via a USB-C cable.
The dRio AKU charges via USB-C
The dRio AKU spice grinder will inform you well in advance when the battery is low. Charging the device itself is no more complicated than charging your smartphone. There is a USB-C connector on top of the dRio AKU grinder where you insert the included cable, which you then plug into any compatible adapter. A full charge of the spice grinder takes approximately one hour.
