DJI Osmo Mobile 8P features the new Osmo FrameTap system, which displays a preview from your phone or Multifunctional Module 2 directly on the remote control. ⁶ This makes it easy to set up precise composition even when shooting from a distance or using the rear camera.

ActiveTrack 8.0 for intelligent subject tracking
ActiveTrack 8.0 technology takes tracking to a new level. The gimbal intelligently tracks people, pets, and various objects³ and keeps them stable in the centre of the frame even during fast movement. ⁷ This function is perfect for vlogging, filming sports, concerts, events, live streaming, or shooting children and pets.
Multifunctional Module 2 with fill lighting
The optional Multifunctional Module 2 brings advanced features, including subject tracking, a built-in fill light, brightness and colour temperature adjustment, or expanded gimbal control. The light module offers a total of eight brightness levels and eight colour presets to suit current conditions.
DJI Osmo Mobile 8P stabiliser with built-in extension rod and tripod
The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P stabiliser supports wide-angle and telephoto phone lenses, allowing you to track fast-moving subjects across a wider range. If the tracked subject leaves the frame, the DJI Mimo app automatically brings it back. The practical design includes a built-in extension rod that expands the field of view, an integrated tripod for increased stability on different surfaces,⁹ and a compact folding design that saves space when carrying.
Stabiliser lasts up to 10 hours in use
The Osmo Mobile 8P runs for up to 10 hours on a single charge. You can charge it via the USB-C port, which is particularly useful during long shoots or live streaming.
Three-axis gimbal stabilisation
Osmo Mobile 8P uses eighth-generation stabilisation technology for perfectly smooth footage without any loss of quality. It offers four modes:
- PTF – stability during vertical and horizontal movement, ideal for panning up and down
- FPV – all three axes move together, suitable for dynamic shots
- PF – stabilises horizontal movements, ideal for smooth orbits around objects
- SpinShot – rotate left or right for cool transitions and high-angle shots
