¹As of November 2025, the DJI Neo 2 is the most compact drone in DJI's lineup to feature obstacle sensing in all directions.
²The omnidirectional vision system helps ensure flight safety only under certain conditions and does not replace the user's judgment and control. Always pay attention to your surroundings and the warnings in the DJI Fly app and maintain control of the drone at all times during flight. The optimum height for a visual positioning system is 0.5 to 10 m if the system is used when GNSS signals are not available. Flights outside this range may result in reduced visual positioning performance. Fly carefully. The visual system may not work properly when the drone is flying over water, which may prevent it from actively avoiding the water surface when landing. Users should be in control of the drone at all times, making operational decisions based on an assessment of the surrounding environment and not relying solely on the visual system. The visual positioning system cannot detect certain objects or surfaces, including large structures with frames and cables (e.g. tower cranes, high-voltage transmission towers, high-voltage transmission lines, suspension bridges); surfaces without texture or with a diffuse texture; surfaces with repeating identical patterns or textures (e.g. small tiles of the same colour); surfaces with a uniform colour (e.g. pure black, pure white, pure red, pure green); highly reflective or mirrored surfaces (e.g. ice, road signs); water or transparent surfaces; surfaces of moving objects (e.g. over a moving crowd, over waving bushes or grass); moving obstacles (e.g. walking people, moving vehicles); scenes with drastic lighting changes; surfaces that are extremely dark (e.g. less than 1 lux) or extremely bright (e.g. more than 100 000 lux); materials with strong infrared absorption or reflection properties (e.g. mirrors, glass, road signs, asphalt); small obstacles (e.g. fences, branches, power lines); and thin columns or small vertical objects (e.g. lighting poles, street lamps). Do not block or interfere with the CCTV system under any circumstances. Ensure that all lenses remain clean, free of dirt, smudges or other debris and are not scratched. After prolonged storage, it may be necessary to calibrate the CCTV cameras. The DJI Fly app will prompt you and calibrate automatically. Do not fly in rain, smog or visibility below 100 m. Check the glass surfaces of the sensing system before take-off. Remove any protective films, stickers or other obstructions. If there are water droplets, fingerprints or smudges on the glass, clean the glass with a lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or other organic solvents. If the glass surface is loose, broken, scratched or worn, send the drone to an authorized service center for repair. Please refer to the product user manual for further details.
³Please observe the following conditions and safety precautions when using gestures: When using this feature, make sure the surroundings are safe and avoid moving people, animals or vehicles. Do not use gesture control in areas with small or thin objects (e.g. branches or power lines), transparent objects (e.g. glass or water) or monochromatic surfaces (e.g. white walls). Use this function only in an environment with suitable lighting. Gesture control will not work if the ambient light is below 5 lux or above 100,000 lux. Gesture control is only supported in Spotlight or Follow mode and is not supported when using the remote or motion controller. When using this feature, keep the drone approximately 2 to 5 m away from the operator. Keep your fingers fully extended when using this function. Gesture control won't work with thick gloves or mittens, and the object should be completely visible in the camera's view without any obstructions. When using Return to Palm, maintain a horizontal distance of 2 to 5 m between the drone and your hand and a vertical distance of no more than 2 m. If the short-range feature doesn't respond, adjust the drone's position using gesture control or move to avoid blind spots and try again. To, so the drone can return to flying by raising one arm, keep it at a horizontal distance of up to 10 m from the arm, make sure, that the arm is fully extended when lifted, and do not raise both arms at the same time, because it'll stop the drone from flying.
⁴In open environments, we recommend using ActiveTrack. For information about unsupported scenarios or scenarios that can potentially interrupt filming, see the User Guide. In complex environments with many obstacles, use caution when using automatic mode to ensure flight and personal safety.
⁵When taking off and landing in the palm of your hand, observe the following instructions: Use in windless conditions if possible; extend your palm horizontally and keep it still, avoiding contact with the propellers to avoid injury; do not attempt to catch the drone in flight.
⁶The new flight capabilities refer to the DJI Neo 2's ability to fly both indoors and outdoors, with significantly improved performance compared to the DJI Neo, especially in conditions such as flying over water or snow. Always comply with local laws and regulations, certification requirements and flight permits, and make sure you have read and obtained all necessary permits before using the drone. Flight performance may be reduced if the drone flies near monochrome, transparent or poorly textured surfaces with a weak GNSS signal. Always fly carefully in a well-lit environment. When flying over water, maintain a height of at least 1 m to ensure safety. Please refer to the product user manual for further details.
⁷The maximum resolution in vertical shooting mode is 2.7K.
⁸DJI Goggles N3 or DJI Goggles 3 are required along with DJI RC Motion 3 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. When using DJI Neo 2, please comply with local laws and regulations and ensure flight safety.
⁹It supports English and Chinese only.
¹⁰Connecting DJI Neo 2 to a mobile phone via Wi-Fi is required.
¹¹For information on mobile device compatibility, see the DJI Fly app download page, and for information on Bluetooth device compatibility, see the list of compatible Bluetooth devices.
¹²A DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver is required along with a designated remote and goggles. These accessories can be obtained by purchasing certain kits or by purchasing them separately.
¹³A video transmission distance of 10 km can only be achieved by complying with FCC regulations. Measured in an undeveloped outdoor environment without interference from a remote control or goggles, it showed the longest communication range for one-way flights without return according to each standard. The maximum video transmission distance in real flight scenarios is limited by the maximum flight distance of the drone. Always pay attention to the RTH reminders on the live display during flight.
¹⁴The maximum speed measured in an open environment without wind, when the drone took off from 0 m altitude and was controlled by remote control. The figures are indicative only.
¹⁵4K/100fps slow-motion video recording is only supported when using a remote control or motion controller.
¹⁶The stabilization switch (On/Off) is only available when paired with glasses. When stabilization is disabled, the captured footage supports offline stabilization using Gyroflow.
¹⁷The number of batteries that can be charged simultaneously depends on the power of the charger used. Using a charger with a power output of over 45 W allows you to charge three batteries simultaneously. Using a charger with a power between 30 W and 45 W allows only two batteries to be charged at the same time.
¹⁸Measured in a low-interference laboratory environment in countries/regions that support both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies. Download speeds may vary depending on actual conditions.
¹⁹Measurements were taken while flying forward at 4 m/s in no wind at an altitude of 20 m above sea level, without the DJI Neo 2 digital transmitter, with camera parameters set to 1080p/30fps, video mode turned off, and with the battery charged to 100% until it was discharged to 0%. Results may vary depending on the environment, actual usage and firmware version.
²⁰Measured after activating the DJI Neo 2, with a fully charged battery and default settings, using Circle, Rocket and Dronie modes, and is for reference only.
²¹Measured weight does not include DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver. The actual weight of the product may vary depending on differences in the materials of the batch and external factors.
²²Measured in an open outdoor environment without interference. The actual video transmission distance may vary depending on the operating environment and the performance of the mobile device. Be guided by real experience.
