The Dahua P3D-3F-PV-PRO IP camera monitors outdoor areas in high 2K resolution of 2304 × 1296 pixels on both channels simultaneously. This device combines a fixed lens with a 2.8mm focal length and a rotating PT lens with a 6mm focal length to eliminate blind spots. The wide viewing angle is complemented by full-colour night vision with a range of up to 40m, which uses four warm LED light sources and advanced Wizcolour technology. The IP66-rated construction withstands adverse weather conditions within a temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. It can be powered either from the mains or via an Ethernet cable with PoE technology.

Image Quality and Dual Optics
The visual output is based on two independent lenses with a sensitive 1/2.9" CMOS sensor. The fixed optics with a 2.8mm focal length provide a wide 89° viewing angle, while the rotating part with a 6mm focal length renders the scene in more detail at a 52° angle. Both cameras operate at a resolution of 2304 × 1296 pixels at a frame rate of 20 FPS. The two effective sensors with a high F1.0 aperture capture plenty of light. Modern H.265 compression significantly reduces data transmission and storage capacity requirements.
Colour Night Vision
The camera uses Wizcolour technology with artificial intelligence for true-to-life colour reproduction at night. The system does not need a classic infrared illuminator because it activates the integrated lighting. Four warm LED reflectors with a range of up to 40 metres reliably illuminate the monitored area. The resulting colour image makes it easier to identify details even in complete darkness. In addition, WDR technology with a dynamic range of 120dB balances out large transitions between light and shadow.
Intelligent Detection and Motion Tracking
Advanced Motion Detection 2.0 algorithms reliably recognise human figures and cars. The cooperation of both lenses enables the linkage tracking function, where the rotating part automatically tracks the marked object throughout its entire range. When the defined area is breached, the system immediately sends a notification to your mobile phone. Active deterrence is provided by a built-in siren along with a strobe light, which react to the detected event.
Two-Way Audio
The camera offers full real-time audio transmission with support for G.711a, G.711Mu, PCM, and G.726 audio compressions. There is an integrated microphone and speaker for two-way communication with people in front of the lens, making it easy to give instructions to couriers, for example. The user can talk to visitors directly through the DMSS mobile app. The built-in speaker is also used to play a loud warning sound if the alarm is activated when the area is breached.
Durable Construction and Recording Storage
The motorised drive provides a 352° rotation and 90° tilt to eliminate blind spots around the house. The IP66-rated construction is resistant to rain and dust and operates in temperatures from -30°C to 50°C. For local storage on a memory card, there is a MicroSD slot with support for up to 256GB. Alternatively, cloud storage can be used for secure data backup away from the device itself.
Connectivity and App
Wireless network connection is via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and initial setup is made easy by quick pairing via Bluetooth. The alternative is a stable connection using a network cable via the RJ-45 interface with support for 802.3af standard PoE. Thanks to the ONVIF protocol, the camera works seamlessly with recording devices from other manufacturers. Remote management and live view are provided by the DMSS mobile app for Android and iOS, or the Smart PSS Lite computer software for Windows.
