Provides extensive support for VLANs, including GARP/GVRP and 802.1Q to improve safety and performance. Further supports the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), allowing a few switches on the 3rd layer on a reentrant line, use the same virtual IP address. One option will be chosen as a control switch and the other serves as a backup in case of failure of management options. Support VRRP is convenient and allows you to configure your host system manually or via DHCP with a single default gateway.
Other supported standards include a network of IEEE 802.3ad (Link Aggregation), providing a static port aggregation and 802.1d Spanning Tree/802.1 watt Rapid Spanning Tree, which eliminate the loops and thus provide higher reliability and availability of the network stack. There is also and advanced management functions for setting the switch via telnet or web interface.
