CyberPower UT1050E
Imagine a power outage minutes before you finished working. Your work is irretrievably lost, and you must start from scratch. Such tragic scenarios can be averted by the CyberPower UT1050E backup source, or UPS. In principle, this hardware is just a large battery that provides power for all appliances needing electricity. The CyberPower UT1050E UPS features the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is the simplest form if the electricity is interrupted because it switches power to the UPS unit itself. The line interactive UPS also adds voltage regulation to prevent damage from electrical surges from the grid.
A key attribute is the backup time. This is governed by the energy consumption – for example, at half-load (50%), the UPS power time will last a longer amount of time. It is therefore necessary to determine the energy consumption of the connected appliances and ideally to have some extra power left. The CyberPower UT1050E specifies the apparent power as 1050, but with realistic use, the actual usage matches the value of 630 W.
