Dual USB-C connection and audio mixing
The Creative Sound Blaster G8 offers a wide range of connectivity options. As the first DAC of its kind, it features dual USB-C inputs that let you connect and mix audio from two devices simultaneously. This universal hub can be used with a games console, mobile device or computer. The amplifier is also suitable for streaming, as it allows you to mix audio from connected sources and transfer it to your streaming software and platforms. An HDMI ARC port is also available for connecting to a compatible setup with a TV and games console. Surround sound is supported by Dolby Audio technology.
High-resolution playback and Xamp headphone amplifier
The Sound Blaster G8 amplifier can natively play high-resolution audio files up to 32-bit / 384kHz, allowing for the reproduction of fine audio details when using a corresponding source and headphones. The device includes a discrete dual-channel Xamp amplifier that processes the left and right headphone channels independently. With a low output impedance of 1 Ohm, it is also suitable for more sensitive headphones and supports models with an impedance from 8 to 600 Ohm. The DAC itself offers a dynamic range of up to 130dB.

The Creative Sound Blaster G8 offers easy control via rotary knobs and buttons located on the top of the device. This provides quick access to important functions, switching audio sources or adjusting the volume. The GameVoice Mix feature lets you conveniently set the balance between game audio and voice communication volume, so you can better balance the game's sound and conversation with your teammates.
Creative app
The amplifier can also be controlled via the Creative app, which expands the sound customisation options to suit your individual preferences. It lets you create your own sound profiles using Acoustic Engine technology or use preset profiles optimised for games, movies and other content. In the app, you can adjust playback and recording parameters, set up headphone and speaker configurations, update firmware and manage other device functions.
