CORAVIN Timeless Six+ wine preservation system, Ocean Blue

The Coravin Timeless Six+ system lets you enjoy wine by the glass without ever pulling the cork. This method preserves the quality of the wine for weeks, months, or even years. The system is ideal for tasting wines from your collection or for those moments when you just want a single glass without having to finish the whole bottle. The set also includes an aerator that enriches the wine's flavour and aroma in seconds, equivalent to decanting for 60–90 minutes. This means you can enjoy your glass to the fullest, instantly.

Wine preservation technology

The Coravin system works by inserting a thin needle through the cork. When you press the button, the bottle is pressurised with inert argon gas from a Coravin Pure™ capsule, which pushes the wine through the needle and into your glass. Because argon doesn't react with the wine, the rest of the bottle's contents remain untouched by oxidation. Once the needle is removed, the cork naturally reseals itself, protecting the wine from air. The wine can then continue to mature in the bottle as if it had never been opened. The needle is also positioned off-centre, which enables repeated use on the same cork.

A complete set for any occasion

The set contains everything a wine lover needs. In addition to the system itself, you will find two Timeless Standard screw caps, which extend its use to bottles with screw tops and keep their contents fresh for up to three months. The included aerator provides instant decanting, enriching the wine's flavour and aroma as you pour. A case with internal pockets is included for safe transport and storage. The set also comes with a bottle sleeve to protect it from accidental breakage and a needle clearing tool.

Intuitive control and design

Using the system is very simple thanks to the SmartClamps™ mechanism, which you just place over the neck of the bottle and push down in one smooth motion. The system is made from a combination of stainless steel and durable plastic. For comfortable and safe handling, it has a rubberised grip with a subtle pattern that won't slip in your hand. The metal spout then provides a precise pour into the glass. The average pour time for a 150ml glass with the standard needle is between 25 and 29 seconds.
