The CONNECT IT AluSafe connects to your computer via the modern, high-speed SuperSpeed+ USB-C 3.2 Gen2 (Type C) interface, which requires no additional power. With a data transfer speed of up to 10Gbps, the USB-C interface can handle large amounts of data.
