The Cilio GOLIATH granite mortar is designed for efficient manual crushing of spices, herbs and making homemade pesto. Thanks to its high weight and solid natural granite construction, it remains stable during work and allows you to exert the necessary pressure without sliding on the work surface. Granite material is resistant to abrasion and acid, so it is also suitable for processing aromatic and moist raw materials. The coarser inner surface promotes even grinding and release of essential oils from the spices. Also included is a sturdy mallet that is shaped to fit the mortar bowl.
