The Celestron 114 LCM is an observer telescope of the Newtonian (mirror) type. The telescope is fully motorised for easy and convenient manipulation. Its assembly is equally easy, taking only a matter of minutes thanks to the adjustable aluminium tripod. The Celestron 114 LCM allows you to view the beauty of the universe in more detail than ever before. Just enter the date, time and position into the patented SkyAlign guidance system and point it at three bright objects in the sky. This is enough to let the system find its bearings and then it will be ready to view objects from the database. The localisation is controlled by the azimuth biaxial assembly, which is in turn controlled by servomotors.
