The Cayin N7 is a high-end digital audio player (DAP) and digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) with a 1-bit architecture that delivers an exceptionally rich, smooth and natural sound to impress even the most demanding audiophiles. A fully discrete, balanced amplifier lets you easily switch between Class A and Class AB, allowing you to customise the sound to suit your headphones or personal preferences. The player has a sleek aluminium body with a 5-inch touchscreen that makes it easy to browse your music library, install apps or control streaming platforms like Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify or Deezer. The Cayin N7 player offers versatile connectivity, including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, headphone and line outputs (both balanced and single-ended), a multi-function USB-C port, and a mini HDMI I²S output. For storing media files, there is 64GB of internal storage, and you can also use a microSD card (up to 1TB). Fully discrete 1-bit DSD audio conversion
The Cayin N7 portable player features a 1-bit DAC made up of 128 resistors, a balanced passive system that ensures the conversion respects the original digital signals. This technology enables optimal processing of native DSD formats up to DSD512. The player intelligently upsamples PCM and MQA audio files to DSD to take full advantage of its conversion capacity. The headphone amplifier is based on a 4-channel circuit with a low-noise JFET in the differential input stage and a BJT transistor that acts as the amplifier and power stage. This design minimises interference and delivers much more efficient and higher-quality audio signal processing.
Balanced amplifier with switchable modes
The Cayin N7 player features a complex architecture that includes a fully discrete and high-fidelity balanced amplifier, letting you switch between Class A and Class AB modes. The Cayin N7 DAP is powered by a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which, along with 4GB of RAM, ensures smooth system performance, a fast UI response, and seamless music streaming. The device also has 64GB of internal memory and supports microSD cards up to 1TB, providing enough space for even large music libraries. The Cayin N7 is built on Android 12, which is specially adapted for audio signal conversion. This optimisation means digital streams are transferred directly to the DAC without any interference from the operating system.
The Cayin N7 player offers excellent connectivity
Two headphone outputs—a 4.4mm balanced and a 3.5mm single-ended—connect headphones to the player and are compatible with even very demanding models. Two additional analogue outputs (4.4mm and 3.5mm) can be configured in line or preamp mode, so you can connect the N7 player to almost any home Hi-Fi system or headphones. There is also a multi-function USB-C port that serves as a USB DAC (up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512), a digital audio output (S/PDIF), and a charging port. A modern I²S output via mini HDMI is also included. Convenient wireless connectivity is then provided by dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth version 5.0.

The Cayin N7 player has a robust and durable body made of CNC-machined aluminium with a matte finish, giving the device a sophisticated and elegant look. Almost the entire front of the player is taken up by a 5-inch TFT touchscreen with a high resolution of 1080×1920 pixels (FHD), which makes it easy to use apps, browse music libraries, and more. On the side of the player, there are practical buttons for pausing playback and skipping tracks forwards or backwards. A large gold-plated dial with an engraved emblem, which underlines the player's luxurious appearance, provides precise volume adjustment.
High-capacity battery with fast charging
Thanks to its optimised hardware and software, the Cayin N7 player excels in energy-saving and efficient operation. The device is equipped with a powerful 9000mAh (3.8V) battery with a finely-tuned power management system, providing it with enough energy for up to 10 hours of playback (when using the 3.5mm single-ended output). With support for PD2.0 fast charging, it only takes two hours to recharge the battery from 20 to 80 percent. The included USB-C cable is used to charge the battery.
