In addition to the controls on the digital camera body, you'll also find a tilting display and an electronic viewfinder. You'll also enjoy the special sleds for attaching external devices. The camera has a thread, which you can use for example to mount it on a gimbal, tripod or other tools. Simply lighten the composition before taking the picture using the built-in flash.
Photos saved in RAW format
Photos are also saved in RAW format if required; this format allows you to play with the image much more when editing on the computer. Send images easily via Bluetooth and WiFi. The mirrorless camera communicates with the computer via a classic USB connector. If you're asking about graphic outputs, the model has micro HDMI connectors.
Capture perfect moments in time and capture videos without compromise
Capture fleeting moments at up to 40 fps. /s with amazing image quality, even in near darkness. Autofocus based on AI and depth learning focuses on fast-moving subjects wherever they are in the frame. The resampled 4K 60p full-width footage looks just great. Intuitive features such as intelligent autofocus and powerful image stabiliser make it easy to achieve professional results.
Handheld shooting even with long exposures
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II focuses quickly and accurately, even when you have trouble seeing. The camera can confidently maintain focus even in low light at just -6.5 EV, which is less than the light from the crescent moon. So you can shoot handheld with long exposures, deliberately blurring moving subjects while keeping the rest of the scene perfectly sharp, all without the need for a tripod.
Even more stable videos
The image stabiliser in the Canon EOS R6 Mark II camera body works closely with the optical image stabiliser in many Canon lenses. The result is up to 8 EV protection against camera shake when shooting handheld. The image stabiliser detects more types of movement than other camera image stabilisers. When shooting video, a digital video image stabilizer is added to the IBIS system and optical image stabilizer, so the resulting footage looks like it was shot professionally with a gimbal.
Features inspired by professional cameras
With the autofocus function enabled only when when detected, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II will not refocus on the background if the subject moves out of the frame. Inspired by the Canon Cinema EOS C70, this feature mimics the work of a professional sharpener to achieve filmmaker-grade results. Another technology that the Canon EOS R6 Mark II shares with Canon's Cinema EOS series cameras is the False colours feature. This provides a clear indication of the current exposure levels. Six colours, each representing a different brightness level, are superimposed in the viewfinder and preview screen images.
