The EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM lens is a good choice for beginning photographers looking for a wide-angle zoom lens to capture images of sports or wildlife — and even up-close pictures where some background blurring is desired. This Canon camera lens is one of the smallest and most lightweight 4x zoom ratio lenses in its class. The lens is compatible with other Canon cameras with an EF mount and has a 58-mm filter size. The aperture size of this telephoto camera lens is f/4 with a focusing distance of between 75-300 mm. The electronic lens mount on the Canon EF III USM means smooth and quiet auto-focusing, but manual focus can be used if desired.
