The EOS 100D is a full-featured, responsive digital SLR camera that is also small enough and light enough to take it anywhere. It is an ideal camera if you want to document your lifestyle. Take 18Mpx photos and Full HD movies no matter where you go. Enjoy great camera performance, even in low light: The ISO 12800 maximum sensitivity (expandable to ISO 25600) allows you to shoot low-noise images full of amazing atmosphere and ambience.
Choose your best photo composition with the camera's bright and responsive optical viewfinder or use the 7.7cm TFT Clear View II touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 1040000 pixels to control the camera. Navigate menus, view photos, and even focus and shoot by tapping or dragging the display with your fingertips.
Track and shoot fast moving subjects at 4 fps and take advantage of nine AF points to focus swiftly and accurately, even with off-centre subjects.
Show your creative side with one of the creative filters provided by the EOS 100D camera. The Extra Effect Shot function also takes a snapshot with a filter and without a filter. Choose from Grainy Black & White, Toy Camera, Miniature Effect and more, and preview the effect of each filter before you shoot.
The Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS STM is equipped with a 4EV optical image stabiliser. STM engine technology makes the focus process almost silent, Super Spectra surface coating reduces overexposure and improves sharpening, while the circular seven-bladed aperture provides fine area blur.
Shoot high-quality video at resolutions up to Full-HD (1080p). Take control of exposure, focusing, sound and more, or use the Video Snapshot mode to capture edited movie sequences in-camera. Hybrid CMOS AF II provides continuous focusing while shooting, ideal for keeping moving subjects sharp.
