100 vegetable capsules
BrainMax Vitamin K2 as MK-7 is a patented form from the Norwegian brand K2VITAL®DELTA. It is the most absorbable form of vitamin K2. Of all the K vitamins, it has the longest half-life, meaning that compared to other K vitamins, it stays in the body for up to 72 hours. It is protected by a spherical shell and is thus sufficiently protected both during production and in the gastrointestinal tract. Due to its ability to promote proper calcium metabolism, it is essential for bone health as well as dental health, and contributes to proper blood clotting and thus better wound healing. Vitamin K deficiency can manifest itself in bone and joint pain, as well as inadequate blood clotting. BrainMax Vitamin K2 MK-7 contains 150 mcg of vitamin K2 MK-7 in each capsule, so one capsule will supplement your daily vitamin K intake.

How vitamin K2 deficiency manifests itself
Vitamin K2 deficiency can occur in people with intestinal dysfunction, where vitamins and minerals are not absorbed properly, people with liver disorders, or people who frequently take antibiotics. Vitamin K2 deficiency can manifest itself in headaches, back, joints, easy bruising and a significant deficiency will result in increased bleeding, thinning of the bones and subsequent fractures, because it is essential for proper bone nourishment. It controls the transport and distribution of calcium and ensures that it gets to where it is needed.
For whom is it important to take vitamin K2
- For people with digestive disorders or bowel disease
- For menopausal women
- For children, pregnant and breastfeeding women
- For the elderly, who often suffer from thinning bones and fractures
- For people with weakened immunity
- People with bone and joint diseases or predispositions
- Persons taking calcium
- For vegans and vegetarians
- Persons prone to cardiovascular disease
Strengthens bones in the elderly and helps during menopause
During menopause, women are at increased risk of bone loss (bone fill). Bones are more fragile and thus more prone to fractures. For bone health, calcium comes first of all. However, without enough vitamin K2, it can build up in the blood vessels. Vitamin K2 is basically a carrier that reliably delivers calcium to where it is needed, that is - to the bones. Otherwise, calcium builds up in the blood vessels, brain or kidneys, which later affects the health of the cardiovascular system.
