How the gummies are sweetened
For these vitamin gummies, we deliberately chose traditional sugar and glucose syrup instead of maltitol or other synthetic sweeteners. Although synthetic sweeteners reduce calorie count, they can disrupt digestion and do not behave naturally in the body. In this case, sugar is a safe bet. The body recognises it and knows how to process it. Along with adding sweetness, these two ingredients hold the gummy together – a function that would require additional additives if synthetic sweeteners were used.
