Perfect washing results in less time
The BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine features SpeedPerfect, a special function developed for situations where time is of the essence. It allows you to significantly shorten the washing time without compromising the quality of the wash. The function can be used in combination with most programmes, all loads and types of textiles. For example, you can select the Mix programme in combination with the SpeedPerfect function to wash up to 4 kilograms of a mixed load in just 46 minutes. The BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine uses Steam treatment, which provides extra steam care for your laundry and ensures it is smoothed, or even replaces ironing. You can have your clothes steam-treated for a great look and reduced creasing.
The BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine allows you to add laundry even during the wash cycle
When was the last time you filled the washing machine, started the wash, and then realised you forgot a child's sock or a t-shirt? The Reload function of the BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine allows you to easily add forgotten clothes or remove laundry even during the washing cycle.* Simply pause the running programme and open the door to easily place the forgotten items into the drum, and then continue washing. (*Adding is not possible if the suds temperature is higher than 50°C or the water level in the drum is too high.)
AntiStain stain removal
With the AntiStain Removal system, the BOSCH washing machine can easily handle four types of stubborn stains. The system automatically adjusts the temperature, drum movement and soaking time to easily and fully automatically remove up to four of the most stubborn types of stains - from butter or oil, grass, red wine or blood.
The BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine saves you water and money
The ActiveWater Plus technology delivers perfect washing results while using only the necessary amount of water. Built-in sensors in the BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine adjust the water consumption according to the fabric type and the amount of laundry. At the same time, our patented drum and water-filling systems allow for faster soaking. Every drop of water is thus used effectively. With Bosch washing machines, you won't waste water.
Unique gentle drum and AntiVibration side wall
The unique patented VarioDrum system gently and effectively washes all types of clothing, as it distributes water evenly without stretching, creasing or damaging your favourite items of clothing. The droplet-shaped perforation of the drum and the asymmetrical paddles of the BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine gently turn your laundry towards the centre, regardless of the direction of rotation. This ensures not only an intensive wash for heavily soiled laundry, but also a faster and more thorough washing cycle. The innovative design of the side walls is not only visually appealing, but also provides high stability, reduces vibrations and significantly minimises noise levels. This makes Bosch washing machines very quiet, even during the spin cycle.
Programme for dark colours, sportswear or extra hygiene
Thanks to a special programme for dark clothes, their colour and vibrancy are preserved - making them look new for longer. You can just as easily wash delicate sportswear. A specially adapted Sport/fitness programme with low washing temperatures, from "cold" to 40°C. A short spin and a short rinse reduce creasing. The hygienic washing programme effectively destroys 99.99% of germs in the washing machine, even at a temperature of 40°C.
Automatic drum cleaning reminder and delayed start function
Stop dark clothes from fading after just a few washes! The BOSCH WGG244Z2BY washing machine also has a programme for cleaning the drum. If you wash regularly below 40°C, 20× in a row, the washing machine will notify you that it is time to use the cleaning programme. Use the timer to select a time within 24 hours for the wash to be completed.
