More thorough drying with ExtraDry
If you want your dishes even drier at the end of a programme, activate the ExtraDry function. The BOSCH SMV2IVX57E Serie 2 dishwasher increases the temperature during the final rinse and extends the drying phase, which improves the final result. Simply activate the function by pressing the corresponding button.
InfoLight shows if the dishwasher is still running
With a fully integrated dishwasher, the control panel is not visible when the door is closed. The InfoLight function therefore projects a red light spot onto the floor to let you know that the wash programme is still in progress. As soon as the light goes out, you know the dishwasher has finished its job.
More space thanks to the VarioDrawer
The VarioDrawer cutlery drawer creates an extra level at the top of the dishwasher for cutlery and smaller kitchen utensils such as ladles, whisks or espresso cups. It replaces the classic cutlery basket in the bottom rack, leaving more room for plates, pots and other dishes. This flexible arrangement helps to make efficient use of the available internal space.

The Eco 50°C programme achieves a hygiene level certified by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology, effectively eliminating viruses such as influenza and coronaviruses. An even higher level of hygiene can be achieved with the Intensive 70°C programme or the Machine Care maintenance cycle, which are also effective against more resistant enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.
Dosage assistant for efficient detergent use
The dosage assistant helps to use the washing tablet evenly and effectively. After being released from the dispenser, the tablet falls into a special catch tray at the top of the basket, where it gradually dissolves. This allows the detergent to be distributed evenly throughout the cycle, contributing to clean, residue-free dishes.
Smart Start chooses the right moment
Smart Start helps you manage your appliance's energy consumption more strategically. This function automatically selects the dishwasher's start time based on one of two presets you can set in the Home Connect app, which take into account 2 parameters within the wash cycle: The availability and share of renewable energy (such as solar or wind) or lower energy costs when your electricity rates are lowest.*
