Favourite
You can save your favourite programme as a combination of your most-used programme and an additional function.
Automatic door opening at the end of the programme
Unloading dishes that aren't completely dry or are still too hot can be a nuisance. With the EfficientDry function, the dishwasher door opens automatically at the end of the wash cycle, which is a very practical solution that improves the drying process. It also prevents steam condensation and allows the dishes to cool down gently, so you can put your plates on the shelves immediately without having to wipe them. What's more, this technology also saves you energy.
Hygienically tested BOSCH dishwasher
In a BOSCH dishwasher, viruses such as corona or flu are effectively eliminated even with the Eco 50°C programme, which has been tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Hygiene Level 1 label). Even higher levels of hygiene can be achieved by using higher-temperature programmes in your BOSCH dishwasher, which are also effective against more resistant viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped ones. For BOSCH dishwashers, the Intensive 70°C programme and the Machine Care maintenance programme meet these criteria (Hygiene Level 3 label).
Variable dish loading
Bosch basket systems adapt perfectly to all your needs, providing exceptional stability and innovative use of space. Thanks to the folding tines and shelves, they can accommodate even bulky items, including pots and pans. The upper basket can also be adjusted in height. If you need even more space, the BOSCH SMU4EVS08E dishwasher is equipped with a VarioDrawer cutlery tray, which adds an extra loading level at the top of the dishwasher. This makes loading the dishwasher much easier and increases its capacity. It's the ideal place for cutlery and small kitchen utensils like ladles, whisks or espresso cups. This drawer replaces the cutlery basket in the lower rack, leaving you more space at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Control your Bosch dishwasher from anywhere
Enjoy a smart home. With Home Connect technology, you can control the BOSCH SMU4EVS08E dishwasher from anywhere using a mobile app. Easily set a washing programme, use remote appliance diagnostics or get recommendations for the right programme for your dishes. The app also has a tablet counter, so you won't forget to buy new tablets. For a better user experience, the app is supplemented with notifications that inform you, for example, when the dishwasher has finished. Thanks to its compatibility with Amazon Alexa, you can also control the dishwasher with your voice.
Your favourite programme at the touch of a button
Save a combination of your most-used programme and an additional function. The selected setting can be started at any time with a single touch.
ActiveWater technology
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash your dishes thoroughly while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses water more efficiently. Thanks to targeted spray, rapid circulation and advanced filtration, our dishwashers achieve hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. With this efficient design, we achieve these results with less water consumption, and therefore less energy to heat it.
Quiet operation
Dishwashers with SilentPowerDrive technology ensure an effective wash at a low noise level. They feature a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce friction noise and contributes to the smooth and quiet operation of the appliance.
Using the full power of detergents
Correct detergent dosage is important for optimal washing results. The Dosing Assistant on the BOSCH SMU4EVS08E dishwasher ensures that the detergent dissolves completely in a special collection tray at the top of the basket. Using a targeted stream of water, the detergent is used evenly, controlled and quickly throughout the inside of the dishwasher. This results in a more efficient and quieter wash.
Lifetime AquaStop warranty against water damage
Every Bosch appliance undergoes precise inspection according to strict quality, performance and sustainability standards. All Bosch dishwashers have the AquaStop system and a lifetime warranty against water damage, as well as a ten-year warranty against rust-through of the dishwasher's inner tub. *
