Favourite
You can save your favourite programme as a combination of your most-used programme and an additional function.
Smart Start function automatically selects the most economical washing time
Smart Start helps you manage your appliance's energy consumption more strategically. This function automatically selects the dishwasher's start time based on one of two presets you can set in the Home Connect app, taking into account two parameters within the wash cycle: The availability and share of renewable energy (such as solar or wind) or lower energy costs when your electricity rates are at their lowest.*
*Cost savings require compatible switching between high and low electricity tariffs. Optimisation is performed either to maximise the share of renewable energy in the grid or to reduce costs. The availability of functions may vary from country to country.
Automatic door opening before the end of the programme
Unloading dishes that are not completely dry or are still too hot can be frustrating. With the EfficientDry function, the dishwasher door opens automatically at the end of the washing programme, which is a very practical solution that improves the drying process. This also prevents condensation and cools the dishes gently, so you can put the plates on the shelves straight away without having to wipe them. In addition, this technology also saves energy.
Hygienically tested BOSCH dishwasher
In the BOSCH SMS4EVW08E dishwasher, viruses such as corona or flu are effectively eliminated even with the Eco 50°C programme, as tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Hygiene Label Level 1). Even higher levels of hygiene can be achieved by using higher temperature programmes in the BOSCH dishwasher, which are effective against more resistant viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. For BOSCH dishwashers, the Intensive 70°C programme and the Machine Care maintenance programme meet these criteria (Hygiene Label Level 3).
Flexible dish loading
Bosch basket systems adapt perfectly to all your needs, providing exceptional stability and innovative use of space. Thanks to the foldable tines and plate racks, they can even accommodate bulky items, including pots and pans. The upper basket is also height-adjustable. If you need even more space, the BOSCH SMS4EVW08E Serie 4 dishwasher is equipped with a VarioDrawer cutlery tray, which adds an extra loading level at the top of the dishwasher. This makes loading the dishwasher much easier and increases its capacity. It is the ideal place for cutlery and small kitchen utensils such as ladles, whisks or espresso cups. This drawer replaces the cutlery basket in the lower basket, leaving you more space at the bottom of the dishwasher.
BOSCH dishwasher voice control
Thanks to compatibility with Amazon Alexa, the BOSCH dishwasher can also be controlled by voice. Find out if the relevant "Home Connect" skill is available in the Alexa app for your set country and language. Activate it to connect your Amazon Alexa device and your home appliance.
Favourite programme at the touch of a button
The Favourite Programme function allows you to save a combination of your most used programme and additional functions, making it much easier to control your smart BOSCH SMS4EVW08E Serie 4 dishwasher. You can then easily start the programmed setting via the Home Connect app or directly by pressing a button on the dishwasher's control panel. For example, combine the Extra Dry function with the Eco 50°C programme and set the dishwasher with a single touch. Your own combination of a programme and an optional function will make washing dishes even easier.
ActiveWater Technology
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash dishes thoroughly while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses it more efficiently. Thanks to targeted spraying, rapid circulation and advanced filtration, our dishwashers achieve hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. This efficient design allows us to achieve these results with less water and therefore less energy to heat it.
Dishwasher with quiet operation
Dishwashers with a SilentPowerDrive provide efficient washing at a low noise level. They are equipped with a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce friction noise and contributes to the smooth and quiet running of the appliance.
Unleash the full power of your detergent
Correct detergent dosing is important for an optimal washing result. The Dosing Assistant in the BOSCH SMS4EVW08E Serie 4 dishwasher ensures that the detergent dissolves completely in a special tray at the top of the basket. Using a targeted jet of water, the detergent is distributed evenly, controlledly and quickly throughout the inside of the dishwasher. The result is a more efficient and quieter wash.
BOSCH guarantees quality
The BOSCH SMS4EVW08E Serie 4 dishwasher features the AquaStop system, which protects your home from flooding for the entire lifetime of the appliance. As soon as the sensor detects a leak, the BOSCH dishwasher automatically stops operation and pumps out the water through a double-walled hose. Thanks to a special surface treatment, the manufacturer BOSCH provides a 10-year guarantee against corrosion for the entire interior of the dishwasher.
Lifetime AquaStop warranty against water damage
Every Bosch appliance undergoes precise inspection according to strictly set standards of quality and performance. All Bosch dishwashers have the AquaStop system and a lifetime warranty against water damage, as well as a ten-year warranty against rusting of the inner tub.
