Intensive 70°C
A programme designed for heavily soiled pots, pans, durable crockery, and cutlery with dried-on or burnt-on food residues.
Short 60°C
A programme for when you need clean and dry dishes faster. It completes a full cycle in less than 90 minutes.

Favourite
Lets you save a frequently used combination of a wash programme and an additional function, and then easily start it with a single command.
Better drying results with EfficientDry
The EfficientDry function helps achieve better-dried dishes without the need for extra towelling. After the programme finishes, the door of the BOSCH SBD6ECX18E Serie 6 dishwasher opens automatically, which allows moisture to escape, reduces condensation and gently cools the dishes at the same time. This more natural way of drying also helps to save energy.
More space with the XXL design
Thanks to its XXL design, the BOSCH SBD6ECX18E Serie 6 dishwasher offers 5cm more internal height than standard dishwashers. This makes it easier to fit large plates, tall bottles and vases, or bulkier pots without having to make unnecessary compromises when arranging dishes between the individual baskets.
Open Assist opens the dishwasher with a touch
The Open Assist function lets you open the fully integrated dishwasher by simply pushing on its front panel. The door will partially open, allowing you to conveniently continue opening it to load or unload your dishes. This handle-free solution is particularly well-suited for modern kitchens with clean, seamless front surfaces.
Stainless steel with a lower carbon footprint
Our Class A dishwashers, manufactured in Germany, contain a proportion of CO₂-reduced stainless steel. This specially produced material is carefully monitored and assigned to these dishwashers through a certified mass balance system.* Compared to conventional stainless steel, it has up to a 40% lower carbon footprint.**
*During production, the reduced-CO₂ stainless steel is mixed with conventional stainless steel but is allocated to our Class A energy efficiency dishwashers based on a mass balance calculation (according to ISO 22095), verified and confirmed by TÜV Rheinland.
**Reduced-CO₂ stainless steel consists of 95% higher-quality recycled material. The comparison relates to the conventional stainless steel used in the manufacture of our dishwashers.
More intensive washing with Extra Clean Zone
The Extra Clean Zone helps remove stubborn dirt from dishes placed in the upper basket. A trio of rotating water jets intensifies the soaking and spraying in this area without needing to increase the amount of detergent or the water temperature. Simply activate the function, and the dishwasher will provide more intensive care exactly where it's needed.
Extremely quiet operation with Silence Pro
Silence Pro technology helps keep the dishwasher's noise level to just 38dB. This means the BOSCH SBD6ECX18E Serie 6 operates very quietly while washing, avoiding unnecessary disruption in your home, even in an open-plan kitchen connected to a living area.
TimeLight displays the programme progress on the floor
With a fully integrated dishwasher, you don't have to open the door to see how much time is left on the programme. The TimeLight function projects information about the current wash cycle, including the remaining time, directly onto the floor. This way, you always have a clear view of the dishwasher's activity.
Proven hygienic performance
The Eco 50°C programme achieves a level of hygiene verified by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology, effectively eliminating viruses such as influenza and coronaviruses. An even higher level of hygiene can be achieved with the Intensive 70°C programme or the Machine Care maintenance cycle, which are also effective against more resistant enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.
Dosage Assistant for efficient detergent use
The Dosage Assistant helps to use the washing tablet evenly and effectively. After being released from the dispenser, the tablet drops into a special collection tray in the upper part of the basket, where it gradually dissolves. This allows the detergent to be distributed evenly throughout the entire cycle, contributing to clean dishes with no residue.
Smart Start chooses the right moment
Smart Start helps you manage your appliance's energy consumption more strategically. This function automatically selects the dishwasher's start time based on one of two presets you can configure in the Home Connect app, taking into account 2 parameters within the wash cycle: The availability and proportion of renewable energy (such as solar or wind) or lower energy costs when your electricity rates are at their lowest.*
*Cost savings require a compatible high and low electricity tariff switching. Optimisation is performed either to maximise the share of renewable energy in the grid or to reduce costs. The availability of functions may vary from country to country.
Additional programmes to download
You can expand the dishwasher's offerings using the Programme Download function. Through the Home Connect app, you can get additional wash programmes that better suit specific needs or types of dishes. This allows the BOSCH SBD6ECX18E Serie 6 to adapt to situations for which the basic set of programmes is not ideal.
ActiveWater uses water efficiently
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash dishes thoroughly while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses it more efficiently. Through targeted spraying, rapid circulation, and advanced filtration, our dishwashers achieve hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. Thanks to this efficient design, we achieve these results with less water and, therefore, less energy to heat it.
Quiet operation with SilentPowerDrive
Dishwashers with SilentPowerDrive ensure efficient washing at a low noise level. They are equipped with a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce friction noise and contributes to the smooth and quiet running of the appliance.
10-year anti-rust warranty
High-quality materials and craftsmanship in the interior allow us to offer a 10-year warranty against the inner cavity rusting from the inside out. The dishwasher's construction is thus prepared for long-term daily use.
Intensive Zone for heavily soiled pots and pans
The Intensive Zone function enhances the washing action in the lower basket by increasing the spray pressure and water temperature. This makes it ideal for heavily soiled pots and pans, while you can simultaneously wash more delicate dishes in the upper basket. The function can be combined with a range of washing programmes depending on the current load.
Automatic programmes adapt the wash to the dishes
You don't have to guess the ideal settings every time. The automatic programmes adjust the water temperature and rinse cycle according to the amount of dishes and their level of soiling. The dishwasher thus uses exactly the amount of water and the settings needed for the current load.
Usage overview with Statistics
The Statistics function in the Home Connect app provides an overview of how you actually use your dishwasher. It shows your most frequently selected programmes and settings, as well as trends in water and energy consumption. With a history of the last 12 months, you can easily track your habits and their impact on consumption.
Consumption forecast before starting a programme
Wondering how much energy and water a particular programme will use? The Consumption Forecast feature in the Home Connect app shows you the estimated energy and water consumption, as well as the expected duration, for any selected programme and optional function. This lets you calmly compare the options and choose the programme that best suits the current load in the dishwasher and your needs.
Automatic notifications sent directly to your phone
You don't have to keep checking if the dishwasher is finished. With automatic Home Connect notifications, you can receive information about the current programme status and other useful alerts on your mobile device. This way, you can easily know what's happening with your dishwasher, even when you're not in the kitchen.
Remote diagnostics make troubleshooting easier
If your appliance isn't working correctly, Remote Diagnostics can help. After contacting customer service and with your permission, we can check your dishwasher remotely, locate any potential problems, and recommend a suitable solution. If a technician's visit is necessary, the service team can be better prepared for the next steps thanks to the information gathered.
Control your dishwasher by voice
Thanks to Home Connect, the BOSCH SBD6ECX18E Serie 6 dishwasher can also be linked to a compatible Amazon Alexa device, allowing you to control selected functions with voice commands. The availability of the relevant Alexa skill depends on your country and language settings.
Silence on demand quietens the dishwasher whenever you need
When you need a bit more quiet at home, you can activate Silence on Demand via the Home Connect app. This feature reduces the dishwasher's noise to a minimum for up to 30 minutes while the wash cycle continues. It's ideal for when you're on a call, working, or just relaxing.
Favourite settings at a single touch
The Favourite Programme feature lets you save a combination of a frequently used programme and an additional function. For example, you can combine Eco 50°C with the ExtraDry function and then start the saved setting with a single touch, either directly on the control panel or via the Home Connect app.
Lifetime AquaStop guarantee against water damage
Every Bosch appliance undergoes precise checks according to strictly set standards for quality, performance, and sustainability. All Bosch dishwashers come with the AquaStop system and a lifetime guarantee against water damage, as well as a ten-year guarantee against rust-through of the inner tub.
