BOSCH PPP6AAI40 Serie 6 hob
The 60cm wide BOSCH PPP6AAI40 Serie 6 gas hob combines precise flame control with an elegant matt finish and easy maintenance. Its black tempered glass Matt Design surface has a modern look and a smooth texture that is simple to clean. The FlameSelect technology lets you adjust the flame intensity across nine precisely defined levels, so you can easily adapt the power for anything from searing to gentle simmering. Removable metal dials and smaller, dishwasher-safe cast iron pan supports make cleaning the entire hob surface easier. In addition, the gas safety lock automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame unexpectedly goes out.

Simple elegance with a Matt Design surface
The matt black tempered glass surface gives the BOSCH PPP6AAI40 gas hob an elegant and modern look. Its smooth texture makes regular cleaning easy, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up afterwards. Matt Design fits naturally into modern kitchens and helps you keep the hob surface looking its best with less effort.
Precise FlameSelect flame control
Setting the right intensity for a gas flame just by its size isn't always easy. That's why FlameSelect technology lets you choose from nine precisely defined power levels. You can easily set high power for quick searing and a gentle flame for delicate simmering or slow cooking. You can reliably replicate your chosen temperature to achieve consistent results every time you cook.
A gas hob designed for easy cleaning
Cleaning a gas hob is often complicated by heavy pan supports, hard-to-reach corners and the area around the controls. The BOSCH PPP6AAI40 therefore features an optimised hob layout, removable rotary dials and dishwasher-safe pan supports. You can easily remove the individual parts for convenient access to areas that are difficult to clean on a standard gas hob. The robust cast iron pan supports provide stable support for your cookware during cooking. Their high-quality surface finish is also designed for cleaning in a dishwasher, so you don't have to spend ages removing dried-on dirt by hand. The optimised design helps reduce the risk of corrosion or surface damage when washing in the dishwasher.
Gas safety lock
If the flame unexpectedly goes out, for example due to a draught or a boil-over, the safety system automatically detects the change and cuts off the gas supply. This helps protect your kitchen from an unwanted gas leak and lets you concentrate on preparing your meal.
Removable metal rotary dials
You can simply remove the metal rotary dials for cleaning. This gives you easy access to the surface underneath them and the space between the individual controls. After cleaning, you can securely pop them back on, and the hob is ready to use again.
