SilentPowerDrive – enjoy quiet cooking
The SilentPowerDrive is a powerful motor that ensures the cooker hood runs extremely quietly. The motor is very powerful at extracting steam and odours, while remaining pleasantly quiet.
Matt finish – sophisticated design, effortless cleanliness
The matt black surface looks modern and minimalist, even when you open the top cabinet. It also minimises the visibility of fingerprints, making the cooker hood easier to maintain and keeping the kitchen looking clean and tidy for longer.
Hob Hood Control – operate the cooker hood from the hob
Controlling the cooker hood directly from the hob is very convenient. With the automatic switch-on feature, the BOSCH DWB97DN60 Serie 6 cooker hood activates itself as soon as you start cooking. The Hob Hood Control function is compatible with all Bosch induction hobs that have Home Connect and are paired via a Home Connect account.
DirectSelect – direct, fast and easy control
DirectSelect control gives you quick access to power levels, lighting and other functions in an instant – just like with Bosch hobs. No complicated searching, just direct, fast and easy control.
Extremely quiet and powerful – quiet and efficient, yet strong
Enjoy quiet cooking with the SilentPowerDrive motor, which offers maximum performance and energy efficiency. The folding glass panel directs steam and odours, while the metal grease filters and Long-life CleanAir filters (recirculation accessories) effectively reduce odours and even pollen. It's a simple, effective and reliable solution for a fresh kitchen.
Smart Hood Automatic – fresh air without the effort
Smart Hood Automatic detects when you start cooking and activates the fan automatically. It dynamically adjusts the extraction power according to the hob's settings and temperature. The function is available with compatible induction hobs; for other hobs with Home Connect, the cooker hood can be controlled manually from the hob. The hob and cooker hood must be paired via a Home Connect account.
Home Connect – a smart connection that makes life easier
With Home Connect, you can unlock the full potential of the BOSCH DWB97DN60 Serie 6 cooker hood. In the app, you can monitor the appliance's status, adjust settings and receive useful notifications – for example, when the filters are saturated. This puts you in control of the cooker hood from anywhere, keeping your kitchen fresh without the fuss. By connecting with Amazon Alexa, you can also control the cooker hood with your voice.
Metal grease filter – breathe easier
The ventilation system is equipped with a metal grease filter that captures grease and solid particles from the air. Cleaning is simple – just wash the filter by hand or put it in the dishwasher. You can focus on cooking while the cooker hood takes care of the air in your kitchen.
AutoControl – a smart way to use your cooker hood and hob
AutoControl lets you operate the BOSCH DWB97DN60 Serie 6 cooker hood and a Wi-Fi-enabled hob with Home Connect using a single button. Through your smart device, you can set the extraction intensity, automatically switch on the lights when you activate the hob, or set an automatic fan run-on after cooking.
Remote diagnostics – help when you need it
If an appliance isn't working, remote diagnostics via Home Connect can help. With your permission, customer service can remotely check the device, identify the problem and advise on a solution; if necessary, a technician will arrive ready with the required parts.
Intensive setting with automatic reset – peak performance for steam flare-ups
Whenever more steam temporarily escapes into the room while cooking, use the intensive setting for maximum extraction power. Bonus: the extractor hood automatically returns to the normal setting after a few minutes, so you don't have to remember to switch it back manually.
Exceptionally quiet – for open-plan kitchens
The quieter the extractor hood, the more you can focus on cooking or conversation. That's why the noise level of this exceptionally quiet extractor hood is kept to a minimum – ideal for combined kitchen-diners and open-plan spaces.
Dual filtration system – perfectly clean air even in recirculation mode
The advanced dual filtration system effectively removes both grease and odours. The metal filter captures coarse grease, while the Long-life CleanAir filter (activated carbon, part of the recirculation kit accessory) tackles finer particles and odours, including strong ones (e.g., fried fish). It can be regenerated three times and lasts for up to four years.
Filter saturation monitoring – filter care made easy
The metal grease filters need to be cleaned regularly (by hand or in the dishwasher) to maintain maximum efficiency. Home Connect alerts you when it's time for a clean, helping you maintain optimal performance and a fresh kitchen without any fuss.
Intensive speed setting – the solution for intense cooking
When steam starts to build up, the powerful extraction setting helps to keep your kitchen clean and your cooking pleasant. For more demanding moments, a quick power boost is at your disposal.
Interval ventilation – automatic ventilation every hour
When odours build up in the kitchen, interval ventilation provides a breath of fresh air: it activates the BOSCH DWB97DN60 Serie 6 cooker hood for a short time every hour. You can conveniently set the activation via the Home Connect app.
LED lighting – perfectly illuminates your culinary creations
The LED light ensures the cooking surface is clearly visible. You can adjust the colour temperature in the Home Connect app for a cosier atmosphere. The lighting activates automatically when the glass panel is unfolded, but it can also be controlled manually.
