The bitter salt, or also epsom salt, is correctly chemically called magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Epsom salt is also sometimes referred to as bath salt. It is therefore used for baths, which have beneficial effects. Bitter salt breaks down into magnesium and sulphate ions in water, and magnesium is responsible for the positive effect of bitter salt on the human body and organism. It is one of the most important minerals in the body and supports, for example, the proper functioning of the heart and nervous system.
Use: Flush the bath with warm water, add about 100 g of Epsom salt and relax for 20 minutes.
