The Blackstar Polar 2 external sound card is an audio interface specially designed to boost your guitar's DI signal, restoring the coveted feel and response of playing through a real electric guitar amplifier. POLAR is equipped with FET instrument inputs that provide ultra-low noise and high headroom for the best possible audio foundation for your guitar tone. The "Enhance" feature restores the touch, feel and response of playing through a real amplifier. When the Enhance switch is activated on the instrument input, a unique circuit is engaged that mimics the input stage of a real valve amplifier, including all of its non-linear behaviours and characteristics.
