Visco
Viscoelastic FOAM, often called “memory FOAM” or “lazy FOAM”, was invented in 1970 at a NASA research centre in the USA. Its main function was to neutralise the negative effects of prolonged sitting and lying down. Viscoelastic FOAM is a unique type of polyurethane foam that changes its firmness depending on the temperature. Lazy foams offer a unique feeling when you lie on them because of how this unique foam reacts to temperature, and they adapt perfectly to the anatomy of the human body. This has a fundamental impact on sleep quality, blood circulation, relieving back pain and preventing bedsores.
7-zone profiling
The surface of the mattress is shaped into 7 zones to best adapt its properties to each part of the body. The mattress therefore provides plenty of support and flexibility exactly where it's needed. This allows your body to rest perfectly. The HR GRAND-SOYA foam, containing a proportion of non-modified soy oil, features 7-zone softening for the shoulder cradle, ensures the necessary core ventilation through channels, and improves blood circulation with its transverse profiling.
Channel profiling
Ventilation of the core is ensured by special channels in the mattress profile. Perfect mattress ventilation is ensured by transverse profiling – openings running through the filling from side to side. The core contains openings, i.e. shoulder cradles = these adjust the firmness in the shoulder area and ensure maximum breathability.
