The origins of the Boucheron jewellery workshop date back to 1858, when the French goldsmith Frédéric Boucheron registered the company. The company gradually reoriented itself towards making luxury jewellery, which was received by, for example, the British royal family, the Russian imperial family, and the queens of Egypt and Jordan. Necklaces, rings, and tiaras were eventually joined by watches, and in 1988, the first fragrance. To date, more than 22 men's and women's perfumes have been created under the Boucheron brand, their flacons bearing a visible trace of their origin in lavish jewellery.
