BANQUET Cast iron bread mould EXCELLENT 35 × 13,5 × 14 cm with lid black

The Banquet EXCELLENT cast iron bread pan lets you bake homemade bread with a crispy crust. It is made from solid cast iron, which has excellent heat retention and distributes it evenly throughout its 3-litre capacity. The pan also includes a cast iron lid, which keeps the steam in during the first stage of baking to ensure the inside of the bread is soft and moist. After seasoning with oil, the surface gains natural non-stick properties that improve with use.

Solid cast iron for even baking

The pan has a solid cast iron construction. Cast iron is excellent at retaining heat and then distributing it evenly across the entire surface. This ensures that bread or other baked goods bake evenly, resulting in a crispy crust and a soft, moist centre. The lid, which is also made of cast iron, keeps the steam inside during the first stage of baking, which helps the dough to rise properly.

Versatile use and a natural non-stick surface

Cast iron offers a naturally non-stick surface that is created and improves with regular use and seasoning with oil. This process, known as seasoning, protects the pan from corrosion and makes it easier to turn out your baked goods. In addition to bread, you can also use the pan to prepare pizza, vegetables or sweet desserts.

Not suitable for dishwashers.
