The AVIDE COB LED strip provides smooth and uniform lighting without any visible light spots. Using COB technology, it creates a continuous line of light, which is ideal for under kitchen cabinets or for decorative lighting. The strip runs on a 12V supply and is installed using its self-adhesive backing. Its IP44 rating ensures resistance to splashing water, expanding its potential uses.

COB technology for smooth light

The LED strip uses COB (Chip on Board) technology. Unlike older types of strips where individual diodes are visible, COB creates a completely continuous and uniform line of light. The result is soft, smooth lighting without any distracting spots. With a colour temperature of 4000K, the light is a neutral white, which is suitable for both work and living spaces. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 ensures that illuminated objects retain their natural colours.

Easy and safe installation

Installation is straightforward thanks to the self-adhesive layer on the back. Simply remove the protective film and stick the strip to a clean, dry surface. It operates on a 12V supply, minimising risks during assembly. The IP44 rating signifies protection against splashing water from all directions, so you can also use it in environments with higher humidity. For optimal heat dissipation and a long lifespan, installation in aluminium profiles is recommended.
