How to keep your battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged from the factory, yet its capacity and performance do not reach 100%. Therefore, for optimal calibration, we recommend repeating a full charge and discharge cycle at least 3× right at the start. Constantly connecting your device to a power source reduces battery capacity, so we recommend disconnecting it from the mains from time to time. If you are not using the battery, store it charged in a dry place and check and recharge it approximately every six months.
What harms batteries
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is leaving it fully discharged and unused for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, only charge it once it reaches room temperature. Only use the battery in devices for which it is intended. Also ensure that the battery is not exposed to short circuits or high discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemicals and moisture.
