AVACOM battery 12V 12Ah F2

The Avacom backup battery serves as a power source for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), electronic security systems (ESS) and other devices. With a voltage of 12V and a capacity of 12Ah, it delivers the necessary power. Thanks to its maintenance-free VRLA AGM technology, it doesn't require electrolyte refilling and works in any position. The electrolyte, which is bound in glass matting, also increases its resistance to shocks.

Maintenance-free AGM technology

The Avacom battery operates on the principle of VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) technology, meaning it is hermetically sealed and valve-regulated. It therefore requires no maintenance, such as topping up with distilled water. Inside, there is an electrolyte bound in glass matting (AGM – Absorbed Glass Mat). The bound electrolyte prevents acid leakage and also increases the battery's resistance to shocks and vibrations, so you can operate it in any position.

Battery performance and lifespan

The battery consists of six lead-acid cells and provides a total voltage of 12V with a capacity of 12Ah. Its designed lifespan of 3 to 5 years applies to standby mode, where it serves as a backup power source. In cyclic use, for example in children's electric ride-on toys, the battery can handle up to 1100 charging cycles. It uses a standard F2 type connector for connection.

Wide range of uses

Thanks to its parameters, the Avacom battery finds use in many areas. It is primarily intended for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), electronic security systems (ESS) and fire alarm systems (FAS). It serves equally well as a power source for children's electric ride-on toys. The battery also functions as a replacement for older batteries with corresponding specifications, voltage and connector type.
