PROTEC Škoda Kamiq 2023–2025 facelift, set

The PROTEC winter screen is an accessory for the facelifted Škoda Kamiq, from 2023 onwards. Its main purpose is to reduce the time it takes for the engine to warm up and to speed up the heating system, which is particularly helpful for short winter journeys. The set consists of an upper and a lower part, which together protect the radiator from salt and gravel. The screen is made from durable plastic and can be installed in the front grille without any tools, using the included plastic screws.

Protection and faster warm-up in the winter months

The PROTEC winter screen restricts the flow of cold air to the radiator, helping the engine reach its operating temperature faster. This also means the heating system starts working sooner, making for more comfortable travel in cold weather. In addition to its thermal function, the screen serves as a mechanical barrier. It prevents the radiator from being damaged by flying stones and also protects it from aggressive road salt, which causes corrosion. You can attach the screen using the included plastic screws, which, like the screen itself, are resistant to corrosion and winter conditions.
