Types of additives
Fuel additives
Prevent the engine from getting clogged up with carbon impurities from the fuel and reduce engine knocking. Keep the injectors clean and reduce fuel consumption, improve performance, increase acceleration, and prolong the engine lifespan. Make starting a car in cold winter weather easier, reduce emissions, and protect the fuel system from corrosion. The dosage is always listed on the packaging; the usual ratio is about 1:1000.
Oil additives
Reduce wear and tear inflicted on the engine and transmission and keep them in a good shape. Also reduce the car’s oil consumption (and the amount of exhaust smoke) and engine noise. The additive should be added during every oil change to make sure it removes unwanted residue.
