Construction
The core of the carrier is made from galvanised steel, which resists external elements and mechanical wear. The standard loading area measures 1100×455mm, but by adjusting the side panels, you can increase this to 1100×562mm. It uses a central multi-point locking system to attach to the tow bar, which protects the product from theft. Installation is tool-free using the included T-adapter.
Versatility and load security
The Hakr tow-bar carrier can transport building materials, wood, or hunted game. The supplied straps securely fasten the items being transported. The folding sides stabilise the load and prevent it from shifting while driving on public roads. The carrier allows you to secure bikes with a maximum tyre width of 2.6" and a maximum wheelbase of 1200mm.
Certification
The Hakr tow-bar carrier meets strict safety standards and has received both ATEST 8SD and City Crash test certifications. A 13-pin connector is used to connect the light board with its incandescent lights. For safety reasons, the maximum permitted speed with the carrier mounted is limited to 130km/h.
