GYS lithium starter power supply GYS NOMAD POWER PRO 12/24V

The GYS NOMAD POWER PRO 12/24V jump starter combines the functions of a starter, power bank, and emergency light. Thanks to its high starting current of 2300A, it can handle starting cars, vans, and lorries with both 12V and 24V systems. It serves not only as a reliable emergency helper but also as an external power source for charging phones or tablets. Its advanced protection features are perfect for professional workshops and demanding users alike.

Performance for professional use

At the heart of the jump starter is a lithium LiCoO2 battery, which delivers a starting current of 2300A and a peak current of up to 5000A. This power is sufficient to start vehicles with 12V batteries from 5 to 180Ah, as well as lorries with a 24V system and batteries up to 240Ah. The high battery capacity of 19500mAh (499.59Wh) provides enough energy for multiple starting attempts or for powering other electronics over a long period. It takes approximately 7 hours to fully charge the unit.

Power bank and emergency light in one

In addition to jump-starting, the NOMAD POWER PRO also works as a powerful power bank. For powering mobile phones, tablets, and other electronics, you have two USB-A ports and one USB-C port at your disposal. A DC jack output is also available for devices with higher power demands. The integrated LED light with three modes (normal light, strobe, SOS) can be used as a work lamp for repairs or as a signal in emergency situations on the road.

Smart protection for safe use

The safety of both the user and the vehicle is key. The jump starter therefore includes smart protection that prevents sparking when connecting the clamps and protects against short circuits, reverse polarity, and excessive starting currents. The system also monitors the temperature to prevent overheating. This short-circuit and reverse polarity protection minimises the risk of damaging the vehicle's sensitive electronics. It is important to note that the jump starter is not designed for starting vehicles with lithium LiFePO4 batteries.
