FOLIATEC Spray Film (Dip) 400 ml, Grey Metallic Colour

FOLIATEC film is a unique way to easily change the design of a surface and protect it. This spray-on material adheres to almost any smooth surface (solvent resistance is required), even if it's intricately shaped. After hardening (which takes just 30 minutes), it creates a metallic grey film that provides perfect insulation from rain and salt, and protects against scratches from flying stones. If the film gets damaged or you fancy a change, you can simply peel it off without leaving any permanent marks.

Simplified instructions for use (full instructions are in the package)
Basic instructions:
– work in temperatures of 15–25°C
– do not apply in direct sunlight or in unventilated areas
– only apply the film to solvent-resistant surfaces

Working procedure:

1. Preparation – remove the wheel from the car (the tyre stays on the wheel).
2. Cleaning – clean, dry and thoroughly degrease the surface to be painted using a suitable degreaser.
3. Masking – cover the inside of the wheels with a suitable film, paper or masking tape (we recommend 3M masking tape), and cover the tyre as well.
4. Painting:

• shake the can well before use (also shake the can between painting individual layers)
• start by lightly dusting the surface without trying to cover the original surface (this first layer will bind the subsequent layers)
• let the surface dry for 10–15 minutes between each layer
• apply 3 to 4 layers as needed until the original surface is completely covered
• the vehicle is ready to drive just 30 minutes after spraying the last layer
• the film can be easily removed from the surface after a minimum of 48 hours

Please note: To ensure a truly high-quality finish, you must spray at least 3 to 4 layers. The number of spray cans needed to apply the correct amount depends on the surface area being sprayed.
