DEi Design Engineering Self-adhesive thermal insulation sheet "Reflect-A-Cool" 30,5 x 30,5 cm

This high-quality insulating plate from Design Engineering is a great tool for improving performance and lowering your vehicle's temperature. The heat insulating plate works on a similar principle as thermal insulating tape, except that it adjusts precisely to the target shape and sticks to smooth surfaces. The glass fibres from which this heat-insulating plate is made isolates heat from conductive materials. So if your air filter boxes and engine parts are often overheating, then this is the right choice for you!

Key Features of the Self-Adhesive Thermal Insulation Plate

• An original design that resembles a mirror or chrome design
• DEi has several years of experience in the field of engine thermal insulation
• The DEi insulation plate is attached using a self-adhesive surface
• You can easily cut, shape and bend the heat insulating plate
• Resistance and excellent properties will last at a constant temperature of up to 200°C
• It can also resist radiant short-term heat at up to approx. 1100° C
• The fabric boasts a moisture-resistant surface and solvents
• The package includes one 30.5cm x 30.5cm plate

Why choose a plate instead of thermal insulating tape?

You certainly may have wondered whether you should choose thermal insulating tape or a thermal insulating plate This plate is particularly suitable for flat surfaces in order to ensure maximum adhesion and maintenance of its properties, whereas thermal insulating tape is not self-adhesive and can loosen up if not on properly, which is why it is mainly used for cylinder-shaped exhaust structures.
