Compass Tyre Defect Repair Kit

The Compass repair kit is used for the rapid repair of tubeless tyres without needing to remove the tyre from the wheel rim. This kit can be used on cars, motorbikes, quads, and other vehicles with tubeless tyres. The repair kit can only be used to repair the tyre tread. It cannot be used to repair the tyre sidewalls. The package contains a reamer (drill bit), a plug fork, 5× repair plugs, and vulcanising solution (12g).

How to use the Compass repair kit

1. Find the puncture location on the tyre and remove the object that caused the damage (if it is still in the tyre)
2. Insert the reamer (awl / drill bit) into the hole and then move it up and down until it passes easily through the hole – this cleans and prepares the hole
3. Remove the protective film from the plug, thread it through the fork opening, and apply the vulcanising solution to it.
4. Insert the fork with the plug into the hole so that half of it remains on the outside of the tyre, then turn the fork by a 1/4 turn and slowly pull it out
5. Trim off the rest of the plug as close to the tyre as possible
